Traditional Chinese Medical Center (TCMC) is a registered and licensed acupuncture clinic located in Hargeisa, Somaliland.

TCMC is a health practice specializing in inherent acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. We have extensive experience with a wide range of chronic and acute ailments.

Acupuncture is considered a holistic and natural treatment in that it triggers the body’s phenomenal ability to heal itself. Acupuncture may not only relieve the symptoms associated with an ailment but also correct the root cause behind it. Many physical and emotional problems may be resolved and the symptoms of many chronic illnesses can potentially be managed without side-effects which is often associated or other forms of treatment.

Muscular, skeletal, neurological, hormonal, immune, digestive, circulatory, emotional and mental problems may all potentially respond well to acupuncture. In 1999 the World Health Organization listed a wide variety of diseases or disorders for which acupuncture were favorably tested in controlled clinical trials.

Traditional Chines Medical Center (TCMC) is led by Doctor ZHANG GUOXIN, who specializes in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Acupuncture points cover the whole body, from head to foot, Only a handful of these acupuncture points will be selected for stimulation during a treatment.
The acupuncture points selected for stimulation with an acupuncture needle will vary with acupuncture practitioners. Generally, however, the most common areas where acupuncture needles are inserted include; the head, ears, back, hands, the problem area, lower legs and the feet.
